hey i am still a few days away from my second system !!! i wanted to know how to set it up
i presently have a p3 got a LAN card fitted using & im usin WIN XP Prof + SP 2 .
the didtance between both the sysytems is 20 meters . i have bought a wire that long but still have to get the wires fitted into the RJ45 Plugs !!

judging by ur situation, don't waste time, call a local technitian - stay close while he is workin - its so simple u'll learn it easily by watching him work

I'm still Analogue novice bcoz muh post count is <100
Like I have 90+ posts now, just find 1 where I'm actually asking 4 help, n00b Then count the no. of posts where I tried to help others. I gess that sez a lot...

But hey, that's not the point..when u'll grow up a bit more u'll understand that here also I honestly tried 2 help u.

Anyway, I will keep this conversation in mind 4 some time and think 2ice b4 posting in any thread started by u.
