Hotmail password

Hey guys i had created a hotmail account in 1997.in that email i had a very important message.Now whenever i try to login.It gives me invalid password.
1. I canot go for the hint question since i dont remeber the answer
2.I had not added any alternate email id for this acount so no chance of alternate email id

email ids will go into hibernation after a while and will be deleted if even after hibernation, you do not use it for a long time...

not sure if you can recover anything...

Firstly when did you last use your account, if an account stays unused for over 6 months then usually the free e-mail provider will disconnect it to save bandwith and space............if not then

1. thats bad news always keep a question where you can never forget the answer like your mothers maiden name or your place of birth, star sign or somthing like that

2. alternate e-mail helps to send you an answer to your password question or a chance to put in a new password.

The last thing you can maybe do is to write to their tech support but i doubt for free services you'll get any........but its worth a try.

Tech support does reply atleast they did so in my friends case who thought his account was hacked.

But to the best of my knowledge this account that is inactive since 1997 has been deleted and there is no way to recover it now.

Anyway try asking them .

As u wrote u have an important message in there....., when the account is inactive and disabled then we also lose all the folders & email. If anyhow u get the password, you wont be able to get that email !

I used to work for the MSN tech. support... ID created in 1997 and if it would have been unused ... its surley deleted and unfortunaltly you cannot recover it!
