High CPU temperatures!!

I keep my cabby open so really a lot of air vents and air flow.I have 2 exhaust fans still this overheating problem is gonna kill me.I hate it even as I know the upto 60c there is no problem.I WANT IT LOWER.

BTW utsav how did you manage 96c?It is supposed to auto shut down at 85c(tjunction temp.)

hahhahah...................................keeping it open is the 1st thing which will work against the temp, when open the rear exhaust wont suck the hot air out.

If u have 2 rear fans out make sure u have 2 front intake fans to maintain the proper airflow. keeping it open is no real solution for the processor heat, either u have a real bad heat sink & that will require lapping it, or ur heatsink fan is not seated properly.

^^Yea I guess so but how do I 'lap' it?I haven't ever touched the heatsink so what do you think is reinstalling the heatsink tough?

Lapping is a longer process & would require some reading on the web, 1st try getting a artic silver5 & reinstall the processor & heat sink, see if that solves the problem.
