Hide Email addresses

Sometimes I receives emails from people and when i wish to see to who all it was sent I see the word "Undisclosed Receipient" written next to the word in TO , CC or BCC as a result I cannot see any of the addresses to which it was sent .

How is this done .

Please help

But u still have the IP address. If u want a completely anonymous mail, then use a anonymous remailer.

Anyway what use is the IP address to me . How can I trace the person who sent it .

Also that is besides the point what i want to know is how does this happen

Try to understand the few lines below,

they are exactly what I see in the mail

From : anyone @gmail.com
To : Undisclosed Receipient
cc:
bcc:
Date : Monday 29th August ,2005 7:15

So please help me find a solution to this

And please do educate me on the IP part also

Somebody please solve this query . How is this happening.

Please don't get mistaken and take it for BCC . BCC is a seperate issue . This happens only in the TO and CC part

This happens only in Outlook Express 6.0 If you add sender directly to BCC Field and leave To and CC Fields Blank Undisclosed receipents will show up. Tested.

U can use the IP address and run a WHOIS scan and TRACERT to find who/where the server /person is sending from ?

also, to see the IP, click on a link that says full view with mailheaders...
