help wanted for codecs

Hi i think i have uninstalled all codecs and have wmp10 .i cant play avi files as my pc hangs. what shud i do? pls reply THANKS

alternativerly [only for playing avi's] install DivX codecs. Search for it on the net or on digits old CDs.

I too suggest to go for K-lite codec pack.. my player 'll play almost all video formats after installing it..

Yes. Install K-lite codec pack.

I had installed k lite and g spot before but used to get problem so i uninstalled both.When i reinstall i get error what shud i do now? THANKS anyway

U may face some conflicts if u install more than one codec pack.. Install only one of the two codec packs..

k-lite mega codec pack...
it will be nearly of 36 to 40 mb setup file...but includes all codecs(audio+video) and filters also...
so get it now...from *www.free-codecs.com

After uninstalling K-lite Uhave to reboot ur sys & then Clean any registry vlues for it using any other s/w like ccleaner, etc.Then again try to install it.
Video Lan (VLC) also a good tool 4 playing video & audio files. And DivX for the Avi files.
