Help--Thunderbird,Outlook

Hi,
I am not able to send e-mails with thunderbird or outlook. But I am able to recieve mails. I've pop3 account (another.in). I've set my outgoing server as smtp.another.in as given on their web. How to solve this prob? Plz help

check all the setting in accounts settings tab of ur client.which mail provider are u on.refer to help pages of ur provider

Many servers these days require authentication for sending mail and by default, most clients set this to "not needed"... Verify the setting... Also, try to contact the service provider for help, they will be best able to sort it out... Just go through their faq before that...

sakumar79 seems to have hit the bull's eye!! Authentication is the setting that you must check first!! It has been enabled by service providers to prevent spammers from using their SMTP servers .
