thank you for reading my query. i have a few questions.
1.... very soon i am going to buy a new pc. my personal fevourite is msi p45 platium. it has two pci exp slots. now i have heard that the two slots are actually 8x instead of 16x, so if i plan to install one graphics card <ati 4870> will it run on 8x mode or 16x mode as its a 16x card.
2.... what is the best intel base mother board supporting ati cards . by budget for mother board is arround 10k msi is my first preference.
3.... what is the best 19 or 20 inch display for gaming purpose?

p45 chips run 16x on a single card config, but if you crossfire the slots runs 8x. I dont like mobos personally. Nothing wrong with them but the pcb is really thin and weak. I prefer biostar i45 personally since its known to OC for high FSB overclocking and it isnt as hilariously expensive as gigabyte's ep45 UD3P. Stick to 16:9 22 inch screen like benq e2200hd. Make sure you have a good psu to power up ati 4870. I have allready put up a psu guide and recommendations here so you can check it out.
