Help Me To Install Vista Please

My Configration-
1 Gb Ram
80 Gb Harddisk(not Sata)
Dual Core 1.4
Asus P5vd2-vm Se Board


My Problem-
When I Boot From Vista Ultimate Dvd...(i Tried All My Atleast 7 Dvd's Of Vista But Same Problem Occured)..so When I Boot From Vista Ultimate It Shows Press Any Key..i Enter A Key ...after It Shows Loading Files...

Loading Files Complete
Then It Shows Boot Screen...
After Vista Boot..cursor Come And It Hangs!
A Black Screen And Cursor Come And It Hangs And I Wait...after 20 Mins My Computer Restarts...
So Wht Can I Do 4 This Problem Every Time Same Thing Happen With All Dvd's Cursor Come And Nothing More..it Hangs...

I think You need a SATA HDD to install windows vista.

All of the first, you have to check the ide harddisk with chkdsk command from dos prompt
the vista installation will be succeed

@saurav It seems a hardware problem and not a Vista problem. Remove any add-on card and then try; if still fails try replacing RAM.

First and foremost, run Vista Upgrade Advisor.*www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-vista/get/upgrade-advisor.aspx

It's not a good idea to install it on an 80gig HDD. It will consume 25% of disc space in a month. Stick to XP for now.
