hi friends. i live in Jaipur Rajsthan. i m going to purchase a new bike on diwali. i hve allready
KARIZMA and pulser 180. and not intrested in R15 AND pulser 220..

plz tell help me in choosein a bike >=150 cc.

plz also tell me about honda CBR(where to buy in india). and other models
budget is <1.5-2 lacs

Yamaha is soon gonna launch it's YZ-150. It is a 150cc bike and looks totally awesome. I think you should wait for that.

afaik, yamaha bikes are not good at mileage and serivces.

Once you have seen & given the Yamaha R15 a test drive, you wouldn't want to go to any other bike.

It is not at all efficient, it costs 1 lakh, gives average of 35 KMPL Yamaha's service center's aren't that widespread but it's like Apple. :D The hardware is too hot to resist, just looks alone will sale it.

^dude,it completely blows,I mean it isn't at all that good looking tbh and considering the price tag its a serious no-no.

the new Yamaha FZ16 is definitely better looking IMO.

so its like:
Yamaha FZ16-65k,150cc.
Honda stunner-125cc(~55k) for the budget conscious.

Oh and BTW kawasaki is officially launching ninja in jan. next year-250cc,1.75 lakhs.:)

I think Pulsar 220 DTS-Fi is overall better than R15. R15's strong points are it's looks and handling (I don't like the positioning of the front number plate on the fairing though). The bike is made to handle like a pro. However the engine still is a mere 150cc. And since it is tuned to give max performance it does not deliver mileage the same as other 150cc bikes.

r15 is a weekend bike.
if you ride it everyday, you'll get back pain in few month/year.
