Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE @ 8.3k
Motherboard: MSI 790GX-G65 @7k
HDD: 1TB WDC green @4k
Ram: Trancend 2X2gb 1333Mhz @ 7k
LCD: Benq 22" g2220 HD @7.5k
DVD writer: Samsung 22X @1.2k
Graphics Card: XFX radeon 5770 @ 10k
Mouse: Gigabyte 6M6880 @1.2k

AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE @ 8.3k is not VFM.
You get Core i5 at Rs 9.7K, as you are going for a standalone graphics card,AMD motherboards advantage with onboard graphics stands invalid.

If you want to buy AMD only, then for the cabinet all are recommending NZXT Gamma at 2.1K and for the PSU its CORSAIR VX 450 @ Rs 3.8K, not sure if its enough, else go for VX 550.

for 56k, you will get a highend gaming rig rather than a midlevel.

Processor: Athlon II X4 630 2.8GHz @ 5.1k
Motherboard: MSI 785G-E53 @ 5.5k
Ram: Transcend 2X2GB DDR3 1333MHz C9 @ 5.6k
Hard Disk: Western Digital Caviar Black 500GB @ 3.2k
Graphics Card: Sapphire HD5850 1GB GDDR5 @ 15.8k
Optical Drives: LG 22X SATA DVD-RW @ 1.1k
PSU: Corsair VX550W @ 4.7k
Cabinet: NZXT Gamma @ 2k
Monitor: Benq G2220HD 22” FULL HD @ 8k
Keyboard + Mouse: Gigabyte 6M6880 + Logitech Media Keyboard @1.8k

Total coming at 52.8k. after vat & all expect pay 55k. so its under your budget. hows it now?

moreover getting Phenom II X4 or 790GX doesn't makes u futureproof. getting a better card do, if you into gaming. get the phenoms only if you interested in encoding & other stuff apart from gaming.

if u r only going to play games then follow sam.shab's config
its just too good in that range
athlonII x4 will make sure that u can play games with no prob and will help in multiprocessing benefited applications

and hd 5850 will ensure u to give fluid frame rates in all games at highest settings

Thank you guys. PC will be used for 3d related software and some gaming.

teh tech saviour!
I think for 3d related software amd phenom ii x 4 955 will be better.

If available you can go with biostar motherboard TA785G3 HD for 4.7k.((if there is a budget problem otherwise MSI 785G-E53 @ 5.5k will be fine))

simply change the proccy to Phenom II X4 955 & board be same. or change to Biostar TA785G3 HD. i suggest you wait 1month or so. X4 955 @ 95W coming (current is 125W. a bit high). same speed. & maybe same cost. will be great for you. less heat + lower power consumption. keep graphics card as it is.

maybe this month only. problem is it'll reach indian market by end of April. and the shopkeepers may wish to empty their 125W C2 version 1st before opening the door to C3 stepping X4 955 which will be @ 95W. should run quite a bit cool.

inc tax?

anyway hows your pc going? tried Asus GPU NOS?

oh good to hear its not related to motherboard

yes, that software. don't install Turbo V. its not so good. to OC best if bios. Asus M4A785TD-V EVO got a very clean & good bios. OC will be real fun.

well if u play game, GPU NOS should upp the IGP clock to ~700Mhz or so, automatically if set to Auto.

yah, Gamma really looks cool. many don't like the looks but most does.

me2. sometimes style does matter. most choose CM Elites. however all looks like Xerox copies of each other with little or almost no tweaking. only the Elite 360 stands out from the rest. BLACK. also the Elite 310. looks cute

well i brought a similiar config 10 days ago for myself....

amd phenom 2*4 955 3.2GHz B.E @ 8.2k
msi 790gx-g65 @ 6.6k
kingston 2*2gb ddr3 1333MHz @ 5.4k
seagate 7200.12 500gb sata @ 2.3k
cm elite 310 @ 1.5k-------------> go nzxt gamma @ 2.3k
gigabyte 460w active pfc @ 2.3k-------------> go with corsair vx550w @ 5.2k
sapphire hd 5770 @ 10k
benq e2220 hd lcd @ 8.4k
logitech keyboard + mouse combo @ 1k
logitech Creative Inspire T3100 @ 2.2k

total:- 51.6k.... should be around 52.5k as i have quoted most of the products with vat....

i know it would expand your budget but i would also suggest a good vfm cpu cooler like Coolermaster Hyper N520 @ 2.4K.... me also thinking to get it....

total:- 55k

get msi 785g e53 to lower the price....
