i want to purchase a cooling fan for my pc

help me decide which cooler i purchase

It's hard to know how to choose between the two because the specs are not given the same way. They are probably on about the same level in effectiveness.

What you have to consider is that the first one is powered via USB, and the second from a Molex connector. For the first one, you have to have a convenient USB port. For the second one, you have to have an unused Molex connector from the power supply.

Regarding the power supply: Those fans consume very little power - 0.15A/12V (1.8W) for the second one, not stated for the first one but must be about the same. They impose negligible extra load on the PSU.

In short, if your computer performs well with your existing power supply, you need not worry about the small extra load of the fan.
