I am here again for asking your help in deciding a Laptop for my Aunty,

Basic requirements
Budget is less then Rs.45,000/-

Vista Premium ready
Core 2 Duo Mobile [MUST] with good speed
1GB RAM
Graphics should be able to run Vista Premium, Intel inbuilt chipset good if it can handle Aero

Minimum 15" screen, good resolution, wide screen if +,
Inbuilt webcam and microphone if available [ both Imp for Chat ]
Onsite warranty if available??

DVD supermultidrive
Wireless g

Bluetooth, card reader, TV OUT, cool looks, are also welcomed if available


I think hp/Compaq brand is good,
My brother and 2 of my friends have it, newer models perform as good as they look.

Please suggest me some models, i cant find an compaq c2d model on its indian website, SONY c2d goes beyond budget. Acer/ dell product n service good ?

Go for hcl or acer .. u can easily get above all features in near abt 40-42K

ooe buy acer aspire 4710 in just 41k. me purchased is just 2weeks ago and it has all the features u need.
only one thing i dont like in that is that the sound is quite less. rest things are good
