Help: Buying Wireless Router

Hi

I am planning to change my Trendnet Wireless router (Bought in US, now not working) to a new one.

I have a laptop, MP3 player (ZEN X-fi) and HTC TOuch (new version, am going to buy it today) for which I am going for wireless router.

I have no idea of which brand/model is better in routers...
Last week, I went to ritchie street, here in chennai.. they told few models price:
Netgear G54 Rs.1950
D link VIR300 Rs.1777
and another model in Dlink Rs.2250 (i dont know wat model it is)

My budget is below 2.5K (its not strict)

please put ur thoughts here..
I wll be buying in 1 or 2 days..
And also will anybody service my old wireless router??
