help bsnl broadband

i have home 250 plan..(2 mbps)
i connected my studio laptop to the modem through lan wire...
in network sharing center it showed network speed 100mbps
then i downloaded a file with 280kbps..
my doubt is does this cost more for me?does bsnl charge more for this?is it a dsl connection?

U speed is perfect for 2mbps. But don't cross ur download limit as it may cost u very high

It was just pure luck. You don't need to worry about it. Just don't Exceed your download limit or it would be costly.
