headphones and speakers

i have a 2.1 speakers and a headphones with mic.
my headphone jacks (red and green) are not separeted with a lot of wire so that i have to disconnect my speakers to plug in my headphones.can i use them simultaneously.

if not is it possible to use them individually without the whole lot of unplugging-plugging

U can get a divider(ie it contains a 3.5mm input nd two 3.5mm outpus) or 3.5mm splitter for the purpose. It wont cost more than 20/-.
So u can connect 2 devices from single source.
its available in all electronics spare shops.
