HDD temperature

Speedfan shows my harddisks temperature are 43C and 44C (for both SATA hardisks) after 25 mins.
The ambient is around 26C.
Do i need to worry?

This has happened only after fixing two 120mm fans at rear and side panel.
Before that temps are 40Cand 38C.
SMPS is fixed at front side below 3.5'' drives as default (ZEBRONICS cabinet).
i have a 8400gs graphic card which have average temp of 60c.

42/43 degree after 1 hr is normal and it keeps constant and wont shoot to 45/48

Its ok I think no problem...I dont have any extra fans but still get 42C

250GB (old) - 37
500GB (new) - 34

Thats my confusion
without fan temps are about 39C for both HHDs.
FAB may blow hot air on HDDs.

i dont know how but there was shortcircuit in the sata power of the hdd and it is damaged.

the cpu does not start when the hdd in connected.

please tell that is the data recoverable ?? i dont think the disks r damaged, only the logic board is faulty.

if not pl tell some method to recover the data. and suggest some recovery agents in new delhi.

I wanted to know the orientation of the fans. Maybe you have put fans wrongly. as a general rule, front and side fans should be inflow and rear and top fans should be outflow.

fan are mounted at rear and leftside of panels.

At 26C ambient temperature (room and not inside the case i presume), 40+ on HDDs is high imho.
What case/cabinet do you have?
Please check if you can add a fan at the front as intake to blow some air over the HDDs.

Without side panel(removed) and rear panel fan working ,i noticed the HDDs temps are around 40C and 36C after an hour.

Is that a single 80mm fan at the back?
Your overall system temps maybe quite high too.
