hello , i have a 750gb sata 2 in sata 1 mode, p4 3ghz, 2gb ddr2 ram, palit 4670 graphic card . the report of HDD inspector is attached.
it shows that performance, reliability, etc. is degarded and are at 46%.
please tell me how to correct it ?
how do i know the umda version ??

Are you using a outdated version of that tool ? Coz it's showing your cpu speed 0Mhz.

First run a chkdsk on your HDD & see if it finds any bad sectors.
To be more pecific use hdtune & post the eport
of that soft in here.

i am using the latest version of HDD inspector. i have checked the website.

hd tune crash each time i run it. it was very difficult to install it too due to crash of setup again and again.

Well you can install softwares that can give you warning if something is fishy, check out: *mrintech.com/3-best-utilities-to-monitor-your-hard-disk-health-at-its-best

Thats strange. I've been using hdtune for exact 2 years.

Have you run chkdsk & got any bad sectors ?
Go to here : *seatools.seagate.com/
& download a tool called seatools for windows & tell us what it says
