I have some queies in my mind, I wish to get answer from the members of the forum.

1. Is it possible to connect two drives (HDD + DVD drive or HDD+HDD) in single SATA port like IDE connector ?

2. What is the basic difference between SATA and SATA-II. Is there any compatiable issue with mother board ?

3. Which is better choice regarding LCD Moinitor(19") between "Wide Screen" and "NORMAL/Standard Screen" for Multimeida home PC ?

4. Among 19" LCD Monitor which make and model best for Multimedia PC below 10K ?

1>i dont think so (not sure)

3>obviously widescreen, when u mention multimedia (movies mainly, and most games too)

4>i would suggest viewsonic brand

2> go for widescreen if u are gamer or watching so much movies and other multimedia
application like Photoshop
3> below 10k mark viewsonic is best and over 10k go for DELL

Nope.thats why you have four or more sata connectors on current mb

2. What is the basic difference between SATA and SATA-II. Is there any compatiable issue with mother board ?
i dont think so..if you use sata 2 on a mb not supporting sata2 which is faster..then it will run in sata speed

wide screen is better for multimedia home pc

4. Among 19" LCD Monitor which make and model best for Multimedia PC below 10K ?

below 10k maybe AOC-917VW 19" LCD 8701/-

I think we may be able to use more SATA using one port, would just need a right cable. or multiplexing device.
