hard disk problem

hello! i am getting the following error in event viewer:
The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Ide\IdePort4.

my pc works fine for 2 days if i remove the sata cable and reinsert it.i dont no why i get this error because i hav not inserted anything in the ide port.i hav connected both my hard disk and dvd writer in SATA and my dvd writer supports only SATA.my pc config is this:

Intel core 2 duo e8400 3.0ghz
biostar tp35d2-a7
Transcend 2 gb ram ddr2 667mhz
xfx 8800gt 512mb ddr3
western digital 500gb
MOSERBAER dvd writer

i am using windows vista ultimate and it hangs occasionally due to this error.please help me.this is a brand new pc and it has almost become useless now unless someone helps me.

Hey,

just replace that SATA cable and replug your all PC Config.( put ram on another slat )

still you are receiving relace your HDD
