*www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/fun/gizmo/article1295469.ecegame has sparked outrage by featuring a spoof paedophile website.
Grand Theft Auto IV encourages players to boost their notoriety by committing crimes like stealing cars and killing gangsters.
But fans have now found a “cheat” which lets the main character achieve a “five star wanted rating” by clicking on a child beauty pageant website in the game’s virtual internet cafe.
The fake site – little lacysurprisepageant.com – displays a message from virtual authorities saying it has been closed down. It warns that anyone caught looking at it will be investigated and features the warning: “We see it all, we know it all.”
GTA IV ... over 1m sold in UK
Using the cheat makes the game harder and leads to thrilling car chases and shootouts. But it has outraged fans.
Jason Deschoolmeester, 23, of South Wales, said: “I was looking on the internet for cheats and the name of this caught my eye as my daughter is called Lacey. This crosses the line. The makers have obviously sat around and discussed putting this in, and it’s not on. What will they do next?
“It’s disgusting. It could lead people to indulge in things like that. It is totally sick. I won’t play it again.”

The domain name address is just one of dozens of fake sites in GTA IV that result in cheats to the storyline. Typing it into a real internet browser take users to the official website for the game.
There is no suggestion that any missions in the game allow players to act out the role of a paedophile.
The 18-rated title, which has sold more than a million copies in Britain, has caused controversy by including themes of gangland killing, drug dealing, stealing cars and prostitution.
A spokesman for makers Rockstar Games declined to comment.
*www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=346902A lot of people underestimate how smart and technical NPC's are. We drive by thousands of them thinking that all they do is walk in circles. There's more to them than just that. I spent about a whole in-game day following a black dude with a hat. Here's how our fant-abulous day went!
1. Hit black man's car (by accident!)
2. Black man got out and pulled me out of my car.
3. I got punched in the face multiple times and walked a short distance away.
4. Blackey begins walking south.
5. I follow behind a couple meters.
6. About 2 hours of walking...
7. Blackey orders a hot dog.
8. Walking...
9. Blackey turns corner, and walks into dark alley.
10. Blackey meets up with 2 gangsters and they start talking about dope.
11. Blackey leaves alley, and walks out into street.
12. I follow him into Cluckin' Bell.
13. He stands there for a little bit.
14. We walk back out.
15. Blackey tries to jack a car and cops begin chasing after him!
16. I get on a Faggio scooter to keep up (looong chase!)
17. Blackey gets shot in the back but keeps running.
18. He gets caught eventually and is thrown into police car.
19. I follow police car all the way to Alderney State Penetentiary.
20. I walk away with awe and amazement.
wow.. that is simply realistic...
