Gskill ram compatibility

Hi guys i was wondering if the below ram would work in my ASUS G41 COMBO FSB upto 1333.

I just investing for future. As i would want some boost in performance from the current ddr2 800mhz.

My current proccy is e5800 so 2 things

1. will the ram of 1600 mhz work or not at reduced fsb is fine but should be able to work at downclocking atleast.

2. Does the upgrade improve the performance.

Even adding 8gb .

Does that even go for 1333 mhz as my procy fsb is only 800 but procy does work standalone it has to go via MB fsb which support upto 1333 . So if i install the ram of 1600mhz will it work at 1333 or at 800 mhz . what is the minimum downclocking for ddr3 as i know the frequency is a main plus for ddr3 based ram as it wont be nice downclocking half of it wheather its supports or not.

Exact mobo model?

A stock E5800 would mean your RAM(DDR2 800MHz) is running downclocked at 400MHz speed, as the CPU FSB is 800MHz(400*2 - dual core) and to maintain 1:1 FSB:memory ratio...

1. Assuming u have P5G41C-M LX, the mobo doesnt support 1600MHz DDR3 RAMs...

2. Only noticeable as numbers in benchmarks..

IMO, this upgrade is meaningless...
