Graphics card around 8k

I had designed a sub 45k pc as follows,

Intel i5 2400
Intel DH67CL B3
G.Skill F3-10600CL9S-4GbNT
WDC 250Gb Blue WD2500AAkx
Coolermaster Elite 310
Corsair GS600W
MSI R6850 Cyclone power edition
BenQ G2222HDL FULL HD LED
Logitech z313
Logitech MK200



unfortunately due to the rising prices and the taxes plus octroi in my city,I am overshooting the budget by aorund 2-3k. I cannot buy the components online, they have to be bought locally. The only change that i want to make in this config is the graphics card. I want to buy a card which is priced at a maximum of 8k. Also please suggest a good PSU preferably CORSAIR.

Change the processor. Buy Phenom II X4 965 BE.

965 BE + HD 6850 will be faster in games than i5-2400 + HD 6770.

Corsair VX450 - 3k + 6850 along with 965BE will be a Kickass Configuration.

Even GTX-550Ti is available for 7.8k-8k.

nvidia gtx 550ti works fine.!! should consider it at a price point of around 7.8k.

if u can sped a little extra bucks u can go for HD 6790

HD 6770 is better. GTX 550 Ti has much higher power consumption for same performance.
