my pc has an asus p5gl mx mobo with intel 915gl chipset.it has a pci-e x16 slot which work in x4 mode.can i use nvidia geforce 7300 or 7600 graphic card in it.plz mention the nvidia 7series and 8series gfx card that i can use.

^^If it has a PCI-e slot, you can use all PCi-e graphics cards. Don't buy a 7 series card now.

Go for the NVIDIA 8600GT 256 MB GDDR3 for around 3k.

DONT buy XFX 8600s. They're the hottest cards ever made.
And Mercury isn't good. Buy ASUS EN8600GT.

well...look for 8600gt or 9500gt.....if its 8600gt,give xfx a miss.asus,msi are good.
while going for any one,keep in mind to get the faster ddr3 versions....they are in the 4.2-4.5k price bracket.

I suggest that you buy a 9500GT rather than a 8600GT.

If you do buy 8600GT than go for the ASUS or the MSI one. Mercury is cheaper but well, the brand is infamous.
