Graphic Card and Power Supply upgrade for 8k

Hi guys,

I want to upgrade my power supply and get a new graphic card.
My budget is 8k.

Currently i am using one that came with the cabinet
Please suggest best option in this range.

My current config

Motherborad :-- DH61WW
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2100 CPU @ 3.10GHz
Physical Memory (RAM) 4.00 GB
Current Card -- Nvidia Geforce 210
Monitor :- Acer S202HL LED Monitor

^^ Best option available ~8K range. No need to alter his config given by him. :thumbs:

If seasonic PSUs are not availible at your place then some alternate option are:
Corsair CX430 V2 @4.3K (same re-branded model of seasonic)
FSP SAGA II 500W @2.2K

but, seasonic model would be of first priority.

yes i agree with guru_urug best option is to buy 6770 and corsair cx 430 v2.it may overshoot your budget a bit.but it is worth spending.

Corsair CX 430V2 and Seasonic S12 II 430Watt are not the same.Seasonic is 80+ certified bronze whereas Corsair is just normal 80+ certified psu.So seasonic S12 II 430 is better here.

You can get something even better.
Just sell ur current GT-210 for around 1k and use that to get Seasonic S12II 520 520W for 3.5k.
Seasonic is preferred as its 80+ bronze and also comes with 5yrs warranty.
Else you can get Corsair CX-500v2 for 3k also.

it is available at 2.65k in 'theitwares.com' but i wanted to know where it is available at 2.4k.thank you.

Tagan Stonerock TG-500 80+ Bronze @ 3K is also a great choice. It is available in Theitwares and comes with 2 Yrs of warranty as per them. But in Kolkata, shop keepers told me that it comes with 3 Yrs warranty. whatever, the PSU is very good and can easily handle cards like HD 6870.

Seasonic is not available in most of the shops of Kolkata. M.D. computers may have them but I'm not sure. Also M.D. does have an Online portal and they are reliable.

I think by paying 300-400 bucks more getting a seasonic S12II 520 makes more sense ;-)

@ The seasonic and corsair units are nopt the same...

The new V2 versions of the corsair psu's are made by CWT, which is good, but slightly inferior to the seasonic..
