Buy Corsair CX400 @ 2.6K + GTX 460 768 MB @ 8.8K ~ Rs 11.6 K ( including tax )

GTX 550Ti is 5-15% slower than GTX 460, so not recommended..

DONT BUY Gtx 460 now. Not Vfm.. Get a Sapphire Hd 6770 instead if you are budgets fitting a Psu.
Hdd 6770+ Corsair Gs600= 10.5 k max.
nvidia cards are just not VFM

Better go for gtx 550 10k plus 3k decent 600 watts psu. stretching 1k i believe is possible. As if later if you add another you dont need to invest later.

GTX550 = Fail.

There is no decent 600W PSU for 3k. A single mid-range GPU doesn't need a 600W PSU.
If he adds another GPU in future, he'll need more than 600W to power his system without any problems.

ok...so ive decided to wait since theres apparently a problem with my psu power.its a cheap 400 w techcom psu...i understand that i need to get a more powerful and quality psu first..these are the questions:

1) will a 500w psu suffice for any of the cards mentioned(460,470,550,6XXX)?

2)suggest a 500 w psu for a max of 2k

3) im going for nvidia cause ive heard that amd gpus perform terribly with physx enabled..is this true?

4) gtx 470>460>550?

I wouldn't go for GTX470 with a 500W PSU. But for the rest, it'll do fine.

FSP Saga II 500W.

AMD GPU's don't have PhysX. You'll need to have a separate Nvidia PhysX-supported card to enjoy all the (useless) PhysX content.
Forget Nvidia at your budget. You'll get either shitty or old generation cards with it. Go for Sapphire HD 6850. It's bang-for-the-buck and I mean literally.

12k GPU with a 400W PSU?? That's suicidal.

GPU @ ~9.5k (Sapphire HD 6850)+ PSU @2k (FSP Saga 500W) would do fine I think.

i am pairing my Corsair CX400 (30A) with HD 6850 ( requires 25A), and it has enough power on +12 V rails to provide power to even GTX 460 ( which requires 26A)

I hope I am not wrong, If i have some misconceptions, clear it out =)

Corsair CX400 ~ FSP Saga II 500W. He can buy either of those if he goes with HD 6850.
