Flame wars aside, it bothers me to see how much access big fish like Google and Microsoft have to our lives. And people are daft enough to put even the colour of their underwear on the internet. Things don't look too good, and I hope it's not too late before people realise what they're doing.

I have kept all my important pics, some other import files encrypted in skydrive. Its around 2-3 GB.
You may never know, HD can go *poof* anytime and everything is gone. Had happened to me once and my backup DVDs too couldn't help.
Moreover, they give the flexibility of accessing your files anywhere. IMO, they can't replace a real Hard Drive, but can function as a backup drive to some extent.
