yeah, but unfortunately it works only at usb 0.008 speeds!! :D :D (2.0 * 2mbps/480mbps = 0.00833..)!!!!

the source is wrong, all rite. but i don't care. i'd be happy wid 500mb too. it really urges me to keep my mailbox clean. too much of anything aint good! ;)

I have a total of 959 emails and I never even bother checking how much space they consume. Who cares! I'll likely never exceed two gigabytes and even if I do, one terabyte would probably be as commonplace then as a gigabyte is today.

Gmail is NOT increasing space
but the thing is that now we can buy space on google by giving 20$ for 10 gb and that is shared between picasa and gmail
so for us phokat ke users NO change.

thtz good my recent space is 2887 MB and bout 1100 MB is been used sooo nice if they provide more MB lol

If you people haven't noticed it yet, GMail's storage counter has started ticking again now after the pause in April.

GMail's storage counter was not paused for me atleast. Anyways the news that GMails 9000MB space is also wrong. You need to buy the space at a rate of 20$/year.

indiatimes still sucks... even though they r providing unlimited storage but their speed is nothing infront of gmail... even yahoo these days is getting slower...

Gmail rocks for the simple reason that they allow POP3 and SMTP access for free and it works without any hiccups. AOL Mail rocks too, but no one uses it in India.

thats how gmail and yahoo are being able to provide so much space. they know 95% of us will never use most of the space

Question: Who gets so much mail?
Answer: Microsoft, the president etc ........... basically people who would have custom mail servers running 24X7 neway!

Maybe some small office/ bussinesses will find this useful but for me its a total, complete waste.
