Google Play enable background data

I disabled Background Data a few days back for Google Play somehow, I can't turn it back on.

On Google Help it was written, Go to accounts and sync, turn it on from there. I did not find any option there, not even in the Gmail account options.

which phone you have? any custom rom?
if you are using LG Optimus L9 P765 on ICS 4.0.4 then go to data usage --> Press menu --> Disable background....
if it dont work reboot once and try again

It HAS to be there.
Do you have any custom ROM?

You are correct for GB but in 4.0.x its not there in accounts and sync..
its there in data usage menu

Found it in the Data Usage option, click on Google Play Store in there, a new page will open, uncheck option at bottom

Yes I use ICS stock
