Recent FPS games at max settings, movies from my hard drive(no blu ray required), loads of programming(need a big hdd for ubuntu and windows dual boot)

also it should be capable of running upcoming games at high settings..
my relative will be returning in a month from Washington.
i was thinking of alienware m14x r2.

Why not get ASUS G Series gaming laptop ? Sure it doesn't have the brand appeal of Alienware but you get a lot more bang for your buck :).

Gaming on mac will be a problem! :(
Asus looks bleak in comparison to Alienware. :p
Any other options?
Will there be any region compatibility issues with the DVD drive?

he would need to import sager laptop in INDIA, and they don't have ASS here, i mean after sales service :p
