See, I've personally grown tired of saying this: Please don't use average PSU brands. :oops:

Did you read the sticky threads before creating a thread here? That is the first thing you should do before posting here. :)

Your Config is good but a 16'' is not considered today. Atleast 19'' is the minimum requirement.

My Suggestion:
* AMD PhenomII 955BE -- 6.5k
* Gigabyte GA MA785GMT US2H -- 3.4k
* GSkill 4GB DDR3 RAM -- 2.3k
* WDC Blue -- 1.7k
* Corsair CX400 SMPS -- 2.5k
* NZXT GAMMA -- 2k
* BenQ G2220 HD -- 7.2k
* APC 600va UPS -- 1.8k
Total --- 25.4k

But for a goood gaming rig you need to have a good GPU too. Later add a good GPU like 6850 for ultimate gaming experience.

This config with a good GPU will do too:
AMD AthlonII X4 635 -- 4.1k
Asus M4N68T M -- 2.4k
Corsair 4GB DDR3 -- 2.3k
WDC Blue 500GB -- 1.7k
FSP SAGA II 500W -- 2k
Zeb. Bijli -- 1k
DELL IN2020M -- 6.2k
Total --- 19.7k

1. GPU: Radeon 5750 -- 6.3k
Total --- 26k
2. GPU: Radeon 5770 --- 7k
Total --- 26.7k

At this budget forget about getting X6 for gaming. The 1st Config i have given is with P2 955BE and withou a GPU. But the 2nd config is more powerful for games.

Also dont go for Cheap Generic PSUs. They may damage your rig, say after 6 months of using. So, better go with Branded PSUs like FSP, Corsair, etc.

I have one Question, will the memory of Graphic Card matter? Managed to increase the budget to 30k.

Also dont go for Cheap Generic PSUs. They may damage your rig, say after 6 months of using. So, better go with Branded PSUs like FSP, Corsair, etc.

How 'bout Gigabyte?

since you increase you budget

just change the processor and graphic card in jassy's rig
AMD x4 640 @ 4.4k
MSI/Sapphire HD 6850 @ 9.5k

i guess a good proccy also helps in overall throughput in games as well as in multitasking..he should buy phenom ii x4 or x6 as he has increased budget...i think..

^^6850 will matter more as baba said.

@mailme.
i know its a good card but considering good advanced options available now its no longer required.

@op -

and you may consider BENQ G2220HD for 7.2k full HD and worth it.
but you didn't tell whether you need a ups?

There is absolutely no need of Water cooling in this rig. IMO use that extra 5k to get a SB rig instead.

saswat23

Human Spambot
yes, instead of a CPU Water Cooler get a SandyBridge processor instead and believe, it will run much cooler than any other proccys. Even after OCing they wont heat up that much.
