I am curious to know which chip. They could have simply replaced it. If the PCB area is not burnt or damaged, they could simply replace it. Digicare did the same with 990FX Sabertooth. Turned out to be a MOSFET problem, and they changed it. Heck the motherboard looked clean....like retail condition clean. Gigabyte shouldn't have left digicare for Accel frontline, but as per my recent experience, they prefer defending their mistakes and oversights rather than acknowledge and fix it.

Aaah that chip. They should be able to replace that chip, assuming that's the only problem.

But to be fair, what guarantee is that Accel didn't screw it up in the first place, I mean...this is how accel does it:

Anyone know how to get warranty on gigabyte graphics card?
I have a HD7750.
Contacted Accel but the said they service only motherboards.
I live in Trivandrum
