Ghost Backup Image

Last time I was performing backup, the pc unexpectedly shut down, while the backup process was incomplete. After booting, the incompletely backed image was taking 89GB space, so I deleted it. But again the next time I turned on my pc, it magically reappeared. Since then I tried deleting it several times, even using the delete backup option from the Backup and Restore menu, but it still appears again. Is there any way I can get rid of this useless space-consuming file? Please help.

open cmd and type in it

chkdsk #: /f

# is the drive letter, It will automatically fix the filesystem.

"Access Denied as you do not have sufficient privileges. You have to invoke this utility running in elevated mode" Shows up every time I try that.
