Broken In
1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Generic answers will not work. Be exact and avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: Gaming
2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: 35K, offer me a computer for 41k as well
3. Planning to overclock?
Ans:Yes but not by much
4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans:Windows 8
5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans:None, I will retain my 500 Gig drive thank god to the floods in Taiwan[/sarcasm]
6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans:Yes, 18.5" AKA 720P would suffice, I am not looking for ultra high end.
7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans:Hard disk and my keyboard.
8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans:Within a couple of weeks
9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans:Yes, I will assemble it myself.
10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans:I live in Hyderabad, if anyone can give me details of a good store I would be glad. Planning to buy locally ONLY, can't buy online due to some constraints.
11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: I posted a thread earlier on this forums well but due to my budget problems I had to drop that costlier idea.
and I've short listed some components,
AMD 960T - 6600
Asus M4N68T-M LE - 2500
Corsair XMS (4x2) - 2500
Logitech G1/G100 - 1400
PSU Corsair GS600 - 4200
ViewSonic18.5" - 4600
nVidia 560Ti - 13000
