1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans:High end gaming like Crysis, BF:3, Max Payne 3, Cod, Mass effect, D0esigning applications: CAD/CAM, CATIA.

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans:70k-80k

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans:Yes

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans:Win 7 ultimate x64

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans:2 TB

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans:24"-25" LED monitor. Thinking about the Benq GL2450 full hd

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: Don't want to buy: mouse, keyboard, ups, speaker.
Want to Buy: a decent webcam, wide range router wit nas support

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: Over a period of two months. Ill be buying the basic cabinet, psu, hdd, ram this week followed by the other components in the upcoming week.

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: Yes, though i am not familiar with installing lc cooling system if required

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Pune, i can buy online if needed.

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: Planing for a Core i5 2500K with Asrock z77 Extreme 4 or Asus P8Z77-M.
For casing the nzxt guardian 921 rb has appealing aesthetics but it seemed to look less spacious online, will it accomodate hydraulic cooling system if required and how is the cable management? Guys i want to have a future proof system which can play high end games on at least medium setting lasting for next 3 years. Also please suggest components with a strong build and ill prefer quality over quantity.

Editing the N@M@N's config. Replace the mobo to Asus Maximus IV Gene Z or Asus P8Z68-V , both for around 13.5k. For RAM get G-skill ripjawsX 2x4 gb ddr3 1600 Mhz @ 3.2k.
For cabinet, carbide 400R @ 4.8k is a good option. Rest remains the same.

The monitor suggested is pretty good so is the rest of the configuration, also need to squeeze a router and a web cam in that budget can you'll suggest one. And for the cabinet I was thinking about getting a NZXT guardian 921 rb, is it good in terms of cooling and cable management.

@Sainatarajan
Will the i7 processor make a real big difference in performance?

I know the hd 7870 is the superior GPU but the hd 7850 performs the same when overclocked read it on toms hardware, can someone please shed some light on this. If I want to crossfire down the line which would be a better mobo. Will I need after market cooling in a nzxt guardian 912 rb?

^^but if you hd 7870 can also be overclocked to get better performance. If you feel that it is too pricier then wait for a month or 2 for GTX 660.

For now your rig would give great performance. In future when you want to overclock you can get additional cooling at that time.
