1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans:playing Crysis 3,Bioshock Infinite, COD Ghosts, GTA 5 if it releases, Visual studio for compiling codes,

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans:Max 60k

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans:If it's worth, then yes.

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans:Windows 7

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans:1TB

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans:Already have an Acer 18.5 inch HD Monitor which came with my old PC.

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans:Already have mouse, keyboard, speaker, DVD Drive.

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans:Next month

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans:My brother will do it for me

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans:Locally from Lamington Road

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: Yes. I need a cabinet which is very attractive, led lights glowing here and there. And when you suggest a cabinet, please do suggest me the fans I should buy. :)

You suggested me a 550W SMPS, but in Flipkart, it's shown the Graphic Card which you recommended needs 600W Power Supply. And which heatsink to buy?

For any system with single gpu, 500w or more is enough.

+1 for this.

@OP; you should sell your current monitor and get a new full HD monitor. The graphic cards been suggested are overkill for your current monitor.

The one suggested by Ashish has a better GPU while the one suggested by bavusani has a better CPU. And I guess GPU matters when it comes to gaming. So I'll buy the config Ashish has suggested. Waiting for replies...

that gpu is not a good choice for 1080p displays.
i agree with Ashish's suggestion.

I'll be buying this config next week. Any changes needed? And can I use NZXT Guardian 921 instead of Corsair 200r?

can you extend a little bit? i suggest tto get amd r280x for 23.5k in md computers. it is equivalent to 7970. also try to get seasonic s12ii 620. for case try betfenix merc alpha. or get a cheaper one now to get a better gpu and psu. upgrade cabby later as soon as you get money.

or cut down ram to 4gb as 280x is worth over 760 anyday if money is a problem.

Will the 280x support the mentioned motherboard? If yes, I'll get it. I already have a dell dimension e520 pc. Will these components fit in my cabinet?

I'd not recommend getting a 280X with a 6300. A build should be more balanced to give the optimum performance even if it is meant for gaming.

I'd recommend go for an i5 4430 + R9-270X
2 years down the line you can upgrade your gpu.

But if you go for 6300+280X/760 , you wont be able to upgrade gpu because the 6300 will hugely bottleneck your next[future] gpu hence decreasing the lifetime of your build.

FX-6300 is capable enough to handle GTX 760 and it will handle 280X also with small bottleneck, not very huge.
