1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')

only for gaming... for games like crysis2, Battlefield3,nfs run, syndicate,medal of honor warfighter.

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: 40k to 45k max

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: no

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans:windows7,8

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans:no, i have my old hard drive

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans:yes i want to buy samsung 20" led


7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: mouse, keyboard, hard disk, dvd drive, ups, speakers.

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: within one and half month.

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: no, this will be my first time.

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: in Kolkata,India. Yes, i'm buying it locally. if any component is not available, i'll buy it online(may be flipkart).

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: i want to buy core i5 processor and radeon hd 6950 1gb graphics card.

Hi Gho0ST.

Here you have two option, before making your final call. i.e You learn Overclocking in future & repent with non-Overclockable Hardware OR you don't want to risk your hardware by voiding their warranty coz of Overclocking.

Anyway, the decision is left open, till you decide.

i think i will go with the second one. along with overclocking there is crossfire support also.

one more question, why phenom ii x4? why not phenom ii x6?

^ X6 - Hexa Core is not needed atm for the applications which you are going to work on currently. On top you're tight with budget. So no need.
