for intel try i5 4440 -12.3k and gigabyte b85m d3h - 5.5k.

Instead of increasing budget to get Intel processors, get a more powerful Graphics card. The game you have mentioned are pretty demanding one and needs a powerful GPU to play them @ 1080P resolution. If you can increase your budget by 5K, instead of getting an i5, get a R7 265 around 12 to 12.5K.

@OP; if you can increase your budget by 1k you can get GTX 650 ti which is faster than 250x.
