Gaming PC for less than 32000

Hi guys, I m new to these forums

I am gonna buy a budget PC for gaming. My total budget is Rs 32000. I have narrowed down to this :-

AMD Phenom II X4 945 AM3 Quad Core 3.0 GHz CPU Box Pack Rs 7000
ASUS M4A785T-M MotherBoard AMD785G For AMD RS 6000
ZOTAC GTS 450 RS 8000
Kingston 2GB DDR3 Desktop RAM 1333 Mhz Rs 1500
Zebronics Affinity Computer Cabinet with SMPS Rs 2500
(Cabinet has onboard 450 watt PSU)
Seagate 500 GB Sata Hard Disk RS 2100

Is the specs good for entry level gaming ?
Also Need help choosing a Monitor for around Rs 5000

iT must have resolution of 1366x768

Gonna use rest of things like keyboard/mouse and speakers from my old pc

The prices are too high and the cabinet's SMPS should not be trusted at all. I suggest the following-

AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE Rs 6500
Gigabyte 880GM UD2H RS 4000
MSI Radeon HD 6850 Rs 10500
Kingston 2GB DDR3 Desktop RAM 1333 Mhz Rs 1200
Cooler Master Elite 430 Rs 2700
Corsair VX 450 Rs 3700
Western Digital Caviar Blue 500 GB Sata Hard Disk RS 1700
Lite-on/LG DVD Writer Rs 1000

Total Rs 31.3k

Get a 20" LCD/LED from Dell/Samsung for the monitor.

BTW where are you quoting the prices from?

I have got the prices from ebay.. Also one more thing, are u sure that 6850 is Rs 10500 ??
Pls suggest any good ATi card manufacturer as i dont think MSI gives good warranty

MSI is very good buddy. from where you heard msi warranty bad. check smc, itwares for prices.
as your budget is 37k including everything i suggest something different -

Nah, Digit is not the only forum i posted lol Everywhere they say about AMD and 6850 lol.. But ill have to stick to a 945 Phenom II X4 and a low end monitor (cost cutting lol)

Go as Jas suggested nerevarine. It is a Nice config.
But if ur budget is 32k then i suggest the following config.
AMD Athlon II X4 640 @ 4.5k
Gigabyte 880GM-UD2H @ 4k
G.Skill F3-10666CL9S-2GBNQ @ 1k
Sapphire HD 5770 @ 7.5k
CM Elite 310 @ 1.5k
Seagate 7200.12 @ 1.7k
LG DVD RW @ .85k
Benq 2220HD @ 7.3K

Total = 31.9k

are u sure its not worth investing a bit more for a phenom ?? I think a good processor and gfx card is what determines good fps in games (well mostly but RAM matters too ).

also don't get any cheap power supply & cabinet. get a descent one: Cooler Master Elite 310 + Corsair VX450W or NZXT Gamma or CM Elite 430 along with the same PSU.

its worth and phenom x6 is much more future proof. you can get another 2gb ram later also. it costs just 1k more. but not the cpu. it will cost 7-8k more:wink:
