780ti is an absolute mother of overkills for single FHD monitor.

My suggestion:

i7 4770k (24000)
Asus Gryphon Z87 (14500)

Seagate Barracuda 2 TB (6100)
Samsung 840 250 GB (12900)
Asus R9 290 4 GB (35000)

i guess this pc will be used for atleast 3-4 years and 780 ti will not be an overkill at that time. if 4k monitors gets released within 1-2years at affordable prices and if op upgrade to that monitor , i guess 780 ti is the way to go.

Nothing is overkill for Next gen games.

Get R9 290 only from custom cooler based, not of reference one

i would suggest for 120hz monitor here :)

see here crysis 3 mange to get 61 fps with 780ti ...shows how demanding future games will be.....

^ But it doesn't mean you cannot play without all ultra settings. Even I got consistent 60+ fps in Crysis 3 with my i3 2100 and a friend's GTX 670. What I meant was the inclusion of 780ti for just one monitor. Crysis 3 isn't gonna be the only game to be played. 780ti is better justified with a dual or triple monitor setup than with Crysis 3's benchmark. Period.

It was GTX 670 , not 770 :p:twisted:

It depends on op what he want.I feel multi monitor setup is like barrier in gaming.

i would vote for 27 inch 1440p monitor here ,it is costly, but offers a great gaming experiance
