Currently Y500 has got the most balanced config in the price bracket you asked for. Btw why my name in thread title ? :p All are here to help you :)

PS: extreme gaming on a laptop is not good, consider a desktop if you can. :)

Avoid Ideapad from Lenovo, they've flimsy build quality with great specs on paper. God forbid you may not want to Run SC every couple of month & submit it for months just to fix damn hardware issues by people with no technical knowledge. Saying from bitter experience.

Seems like you are a special guy. :D:D

Anyway on topic, I have also witnessed some bad experience with Lenovo, my friends had a hard time with it. But that being said at this time Lenovo is offering the best hardware.

Thanks for the comments :)

DOTA is fine even if you play 24hrs ;)

Ok, then the only option which is left, is Inspiron 15R SE with 7730M. i5 + FHD model at 54.5k, completely worth it IMO.

Actually I never played dota in my life though watching my friends playing it since years.

If I were you, I'd have opted for inspiron. 650M will hardly give you ~20% advantage, so if at all you've got any confusion regarding brand selection, chuck it.

Frankly I don't know what that ultrabay will be used for, but I wouldn't recommend you to bet on Y500 just for the sake of it. Moreover, laptop customisation is a real rare sight in India, so you better know. :)

hmm ya sujay u right btw ultrabay is slot which can be used in 3 manner u can add 1 more hard drive or you can add Blue ray drive or an optical drive plus 1 more thing you can add 1 more gpu for more graphics so ultrabay is nice technology but may be in indian version lenovo giving optical drive most probably i am not sure though* still on research nw i am so confused nw i'll go for cb35 after ur review :p hahah joking !!!

Back to school!!
IF you can afford 80k why not a mega gaming computer, a laptop will never be able to play all games maxed out.

Else Y500.

The ultrabay atm isn't really a very useful feature, but let's say after half a year/1 year etc etc when 650M starts to run powerhungry games on low-med, adding another 650M as SLI is a good upgrade option to improve performance. (considering the fact that upgrading-scene in India improves)
