20" Displays are not 1080P display, they provide normally 1600X900 resolution which I think is a better option for you.

Intel Core i3 2100 @ 6.8K
Gigabyte GA-H61M-S2P @ 3.07K
Corsair 4GB X 1 1333 MHz DDR3 @ 1.2K
WD Caviar Blue 500 GB SATA II HDD @ 4.2K
Normal Cabinet without SMPS @ 0.8K
Corsair CX 430 V2 @ 2.3K
LG 20" LCD 2043C @ 5.4K
MSI GTX 560 1 GB GDDR5 @ 10K
Logitech MK200 Keyboard + Mouse @ 0.63K

Total is around 34.5K. I think this configuration will let you play all the games at 900P resolution with good setting.

In a budget build AMD is the best option because most people on a budget dont think about perfomance per watt. They want bang for the buck. And for that AMD is the best. And if we think practically OP isn't going to game 24/7. He will watch movies, surf the net and with AMD he will be future proof as games which consume more and more cores have started to come so with the i3, OP will suffer in the near future.

AMD Phenom II X4 960T: 7k
Biostar A880GZ: 3.4k
4GB DDR3 1333MHz: 1k
WD Caviar Blue 500GB: 4k
BenQ G2222HD: 7k
MSI R6850 PMD1GD5: 8.5k
FSP Saga II 500w: 2k
Zebronics Anchor: 1.1k
Zebronics Judwaa 5 gaming bundle: 0.5k
ASUS 24x DVD writer: 1k
Total: 35.5k

I recently have put up thread for a pc within 35-40k price range. Should i go with the above ?

Should i consider this
AMD Phenom II X4 960T @ 7K
Asus M5A88M @ 5.4K
G-skill RipjawX 1600 MHz 4GB @ 1.55K
WD Blue 500 GB SATA @ 4.1K
NZXT Source 210 Elite @ 2.4K
Gigabyte HD 7850 OC @ 15.2K
Intex 1 KVA UPS @ 2.8K (I already have Speakers, Keyboard and mouse)

suggested by cilius 2 months back. Any changes that you can suggest here ? I would be glad if we can cut the price by a little on the mobo and cabinet. Please suggest me soon as i want to get it within a day or 2.

I am Cilus, not cilius. Possible changes will be a 1600 MHz Ram like G-skill Ripjaw-X 1600 MHz 4GB @ 1.55K, BenQ G2220 HDL 21.5" LED @ 7.6K (G2220HD is not available now) and Corsair CX 430 V2 @ 2.4K
