for 30k, you can get much better system. have a look at this:

Processor: Phenom II X4 955 3.2GHz B.E. @ 7.8k
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-MA-785GMT-US2H @ 4.6k or Biostar TA785G3 HD @ 4.1k
Ram: Kingston 2X2Gb DDR3-1333Mhz Value @ 5.5k
Graphics Card: MSI HD5770 1Gb HAWX @ 9.8k (maybe less)
PSU: Corsair VX450W @ 3.8k or maybe slightly more.
Cabinet: try getting a NZXT Gamma @ 2.2k (online)

Total: 31k (if you choose Bio*).

Note:

1. your config is more powerful on the processing part & lacks graphics power badly. get the above config. everything balanced & price is just over 30k.

2. change your power supply. a Zebronics power supply will instantly blow up if you hook up a power hungry card. also avoid Cooler Master extreme series of PSU. they too will blow up under load.

3. this is a important one. "DON'T LISTEN OR TAKE ADVICE FROM LOCAL PC SHOPS OR DEALERS/ASSAMBLERS" on what to buy. they will first tell you AMD/ATI products are bad. also will direct you to buy outdated products (that 9800GT is way way old now. also damn power hungry) or will ask u buy products at high pricing.

4. if your dealer don't have the products, buy it online & give it to a local shop to assemble. but don't buy crap stuffs.

Hi SAM,

Thanks for your reply, but i am interested to buy only i5 or (Specially) i7.

The Reason behind this is:

AMD Follow old architecture but now, Intel i7 come with new architecture.

If possible, then please have a look on this link,

in old

Host clock * Multiplier = Clock Speed

400 MHz * 8 = 3200 MHz, or 3.2 GHz.

Welcome to Corsair :: System Build Logs

but in new, (The FSB has been removed completely)

Welcome to Corsair :: System Build Logs

one more think, i7 come with triple channel Memory. so it is a big Reason (as, i am a FAN of AMD, i have three AMD system ).

please let me know your view on this.

Thanks

thats totally misleading. yes what you mean is AMD processors are still manufactured on the 45nm node process whereas Intel have manufacturing i3 & i5s on the 32nm process. but thing is, you won't have a big jump in performance with these. and the increment in performance isn't always worth the pricing. well if you want you can definitely go ahead with i5. but get the 750 model. but also you'll have to settle with a less powerful card or increase budget.

to be precise, as much as things changed, it remains the same. these won't affect performance in any big way  still good to know you done the research in first place.

about i7, if you into gaming: better invest in a moderate fast processor & a good graphics card. with Intel, best option is i5 750 or latter + HD5770 or latter. won't come in your budget. i7, thats simply not possible.

with AMD. you can skip little performance on the processor side & achive the graphics power (alreay gave the config).

i am not saying intel bad. but with Intel you'll have to sacrifice the graphics in a big way. in the end, performance will take a serious hit.

about the triple memory channel, i7 920/930 & there after are a lot faster than any AMD processor. however these triple ch won't offer you extra performance just like this. only when coupled with a fast graphics card or if your work includes encoding or something that needs good processing power, Intel is the right choice.

lets try intel:

Processor: Core i5 750 2.66GHz @ 10k (price offered to you is a bit high)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-P55M-UD2 @ 7k
Ram: Kingston 2X2Gb DDR3-1333Mhz Value @ 5.5k
Graphics Card: Sapphire HD5670 512MB GDDR5 Artic Cooling @ 5.2k (order online)
PSU: FSP Saga II 500 Watts @ 2.7k

Total: 30.4k

you got Intel i5 750 but your graphics department taken a straight hit. HD5670 is around 2.5 times slower than HD5770. do note 9800GT 512Mb & HD5670 512Mb is same powerful. so HD5770 is more than 2 times powerful than 9800GT. also cooler. but still power requirement is almost same (a hell less at idle)

no problem friend. my pleasure helping you out

than thats great. i think before October i7 930 will be replaced by the much faster i7 950.at same price, that will be best deal you can get this year. so wait.

about motherboard, EVGA's motherboard team have left. i not sure the reason but its clear they joined Sapphire. so best is avoid EVGA. also Asus. now left is MSI or Gigabyte (Biostar another good contender).

also a wise decision will be wait till Nvidia comes out with a fix to solve those heat issues. cause SLI will add to the already hot cards.

Thanks Brother,

but can you please decide and let me know what i have to buy,

as i found eVGA is good, but as you told they left and i am not interested to go with MSI and Gigabyte.

also please let me know about RAM

i can't simply tell what to buy exactly but get something like this:

Processor: i5 750 (now) or X4 955 (now) or i7 950 (October)

Mobo: theres a lot of good motherboards based on P55. check availability first. for AMD its 890GX from MSI/Gigabyte. Biostar motherboard good but features are limited. for i7 950, best is MSI X58 Pro. cheap & good. if EVGA can make a up its motherboard team back, than have to wait till October. a few motherboards should be released by them.

Ram: for AMD get value ram. no use getting performance rams. for Intel, get performance ram kits like G.Skill Rip jaws with tight timings (if you plan to OC) also Corsair have a few series but all depends on availability.

HDD: get WD Black series. if gaming is first priority, Black is worth the slight premium.

GFX Card: for now HD5770 is best valued one. can't say about latter this year. AMD looking for a refresh. also as Nvidia will tight the price way, pricing on various Radeons will come down a lot. stay tunes.

PSU: Corsair or Cooler Master GX series. depends on what card & setup you have decided buy. usually for single card config, max is TX650W or GX650W. VX550W is best value currently. can support 2 midrange cards.

Cabinet: M59 from NZXT is a cheap & good option over CM 690 (the old one). else pay more & get the best CM 690 II Advanced or the even costly HAF series. spending more isn't recommended.

NOTE:

Intel will change the socket on their P55 & H series early next year or maybe this year(LGA1156 to LGA1155). no upgrade will be possible thereafter. so decide well. X58 is kind of safe. as its über powerful & OC will suppress or match its successors. AMD too will change socket. maybe not soon but lately surely.

Thanks Man,
Processor: i5 750 (now) or X4 955 (now) or i7 950 (October)

i wait for i7 750 till nov 2010 else buy i7 930

my Big-B in US, he is coming in Nov-Dec, ill call him to bring eVGA MoBo

Ram: for AMD get value ram. no use getting performance rams. for Intel, get performance ram kits like G.Skill Rip jaws with tight timings (if you plan to OC) also Corsair have a few series but all depends on availability.

ill preferred CorSair 6GB

HDD: get WD Black series. if gaming is first priority, Black is worth the slight premium.

ill use my old HDD, as it can be replace after few month(if required).

GFX Card: for now HD5770 is best valued one. can't say about latter this year. AMD looking for a refresh. also as Nvidia will tight the price way, pricing on various Radeons will come down a lot. stay tunes.

ill see - in nov which one is best, ill contact you

PSU: Corsair or Cooler Master GX series. depends on what card & setup you have decided buy. usually for single card config, max is TX650W or GX650W. VX550W is best value currently. can support 2 midrange cards.

i have Zebronics pro 400-450, ill try if that work with this else ill buy another one which you specified.

Cabinet: M59 from NZXT is a cheap & good option over CM 690 (the old one). else pay more & get the best CM 690 II Advanced or the even costly HAF series. spending more isn't recommended.

ill not change this now.

since you are into gaming go for core i7, since most games are not multithreaded, but this may change in future. For something like rendering video editing etc go for AMD Phenom II X6 1090T since these will utilize multiple cores compared to games. AMD wins against i7 930 when it comes multithreaded apps but when it comes to gaming i7 wins, but the difference in frames is not that high.

now, i just need to decide MoBo, GPU and RAM.

Hope you suggest good one.
