First for ur information ... hdr and aa cannot work together .. its either hdr or aa ...As u'll notice i've included two similar pictures , one with hdr and the other with aa (i.e no hdr) ... even a 6600GT is weak at handling high range hdr ... the 6800U are just capable of doing so ... the only card right now that can truly handle hdr with ease is the 7800GTX

Notice the details of the water ???? and the shadows over the hand ??? I love this game ....!!!! My favourite yet ... am still playing .. will post more screenies soon ...

*EDIT* .... i just tried the following ingame settings : 1280x768 , 2x aa , 8x af , very high quality , high quality lighting , ultra high quality water , vsync off , hdr range 2 .. ..... runs much fater without any visible loss in quality ....


*UPDATE* just heard that the F.E.A.R. demo is eating up systems with athlon64 3200+ and 6800U !!!!! omg .. what will happen to me ????

Although i'm able to play at higher settings .. i play at the above coz. i get the best fps .. without much noticeable loss in quality .... and oh... no stuttering .... pure fast paced gameplay ....

NOTE : Some maps are loaded even beyond the loading screen .. so u might get jerky gameplay after 20-30s of the starting of the game .....

I'm currently playing at 1280x786 , 4x aa , 16x af , high terrain details , high effects details , high geometry details , medium textures , low dynamic shadows , low dynamic lights , high texture filtering quality .... super smooth gameplay .. no stuttering anytime .... i'm just limited by the ram (only 768 MB) .... will upgrade to 1.25GB soon ....

all screenshots are with a XFX GeForce 6600GT 128MB DDR3 AGP8x... i've some software level tweaks ..... and thats what lets me play games at ultra high settings even though i dont have a gb of ram ....

@ Painkiller: For all queries regarding Graphics cards, u must post in the Hardware Section of this forum along with all the necessary specs of ur machine like Processor, Mobo, Type of Graphics slot (PCI/e or AGP) etc etc along with the price range of ur budget.
Neway, if u hv a decent processor (>2 Ghz) with a not-so-old chipset, then u can opt 4 128 MB Geforce 6600 non GT/ GT series of graphics cards (PCI/e or AGP) , which will cost u around Rs 6000/ Rs 10000 respectively for the XFX cards.
