Front Intake Fan on CM Elite 310?

Is a front intake fan effective in a CM Elite310?
It has very less mesh for intake towards it's bottom.

Currently I've put my fan to side in exhaust(i.e. total negative pressure), since I considered the front to be worthless.

^^ front fan = HDD will enjoy winter. in CM 310, i'll always suggest 3 fan. side & front as intake & back as exhaust. even if you not have a graphics card, one should consider this.

@Sam, you sure it will provide sufficient air flow irrespective of the puny space ?

What's this Circular meshy spot, over the 120mm spot. It only has 2 diagonal holes drilled, other 2 are blocked.
