Update the Adobe flash player to the newest version.

Update or install the newest version of Firefox. And if you have the newest, uninstall it and reinstall again.

If you have any toolbar such as Google Toolbar or Ask Toolbar installed uninstall it and check.

Try doing this:

1) Open Start menu and go to the 'Run' option.
2) Type firefox.exe -profilemanager and press enter.
3) Delete the default profile and create a new profile.
4) Open Firefox again and see whether your problem is solved or not.
