FASTER BROWSING WITH FIREFOX

To start:
Open Firefox.
Type "about:config" in the adress bar.
Find these options, double click each one and change to below values:

network.http.max-connections: 48

network.http.max-connections-per-server: 24

network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-proxy: 12

network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server: 6

network.http.pipelining: true

network.http.pipelining.maxrequests: 16

network.http.proxy.pipelining: true

After changing the values just close Firefox and open it again.

Some people told that these setting may hammer some servers.
Changing the "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to max of 8 will probably solve the problem.
(reduced to 16 from 32)

USE YOUR LAN WITH 100%

Increasing connection speed
Some of us may find that after installing Windows XP, the Internet connection gets slower. A possible reason for this is the QoS (Quality of Service) installed. This service reserves 20 per cent of the bandwidth for itself, even with QoS disabled. In order to remove this reserved quota, you will have to make sure you are logged on as Administrator. Go to Start > Run and type gpedit.msc. Expand the 'local computer policy' branch, the 'administrative templates' branch, and the 'network' branch. Highlight the 'QoS Packet Scheduler' in the left window. In the right window, double-click the 'limit reservable bandwidth' setting. Then, on the Setting tab, check 'enabled', and change the 'Bandwidth limit %' to read 0. After doing this, you should immediately notice a boost in your Internet connection speed.

this is enough indy...if u think u cant resist urself over opera, shut up, marry opera and go live happily ever after....damn opinions dont change just coz YOU think its a better software....
the other day, u were talkin about respect over the YIM conf, and i say this again: try to respect ppl's opinions and their choices, and try giving a lil respect to those programmers who helped create ff.
and oh yeah...pls dont troll unnecessarily. :x

As i have said:
DEMOCRACY RULEZ. I may use whatever browser i am coMfortable with.

EVen if opera is better, why should i buy a software when i get a better (IMO) browser? EVen IE is better when compared to opera.
