far cry patch problem

while adding patch 1.1 or newer after checking some time it give a message that there are no far cry installed on system. while i already installed it.it also in add and remove & programe list.
please tell me solution how to add these patch?

Theres a simple solution,create a shortcut of the patch on desktop,and add
-a at the end of its target.Then when u run the patch from the shortcut,it will ask where to extract.Simply point to the farcry folder.
