F:\ is not accessible..... one of my drive is not accesible on same hard drive

i can't access one of my drive ... i tried different things like changing ownerships .. it didn't work...

it all happend after installing Virutal Box... in which am running ubuntu 12.04... but it didn't happen right after installing

after some days or so after installing virtual box.. while booting up it showed.. diskcheck so i aborted it... what should i do.. plz help...

when i run in safe mode i can access f drive.. Am running Windows 7 32 bit...Ty

Well I'll say backup the data from Ubuntu and then Use Partition magic software to delete and then re create the drive. That should do it. :)

Here is the solution.. i too had installed the vbox on windows 7 to install ubuntu and corrupted my dvd drive F:

DVD/CD-ROM drive Code 39 - Microsoft Community

Try the method 2 and make sure you backup your registry before attempting to modify the registry.
