Experienced 3d tv

Question: I have heard pf PC 3d glasses. Can a normal computer monitor along with 3d glasses simulate a 3d tv like experience ?

Well there is a software which claims something like that.

They give a full featured trial version. I tried it but did not work.

does anyone own a pair of those 3d glasses?

Well I tried with the specs they provided in cinema halls. Its red and cyan right? But it did not work. May be I need some other glass or the s/w is bullsh1t.
