Ethernet problem

I have already asked this but no solutions my ethernet card 8139d is identified as 8139c the green led of the ethernet card blinks meaning it works fine but even after that i am not able to connect to that it gives a coulnot find error

what other kind of error messages do u recieve, and check again if it is configured correctly or else tryout on another pc.

3. eth.. card -> fake !
4. try FC4 or suse 9.3
